Malachite Tented Suites sits on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River and is positioned about 2.5km (1.5 miles) downstream from VFRL Main Lodge and is located only 4.5km (2.8 miles) from the legendary Victoria Falls which lies downstream. The property is so well located that you can see the actual ‘spray’ (mist) that the Victoria Falls creates from the lodge. The private concession on which the Malachite Lodge is located boasts about 1.5km (0.9 miles) worth of prime and uninterrupted views over the Zambezi River which provides the ultimate backdrop for the guests that stay in this camp.

Victoria Falls River Lodge’s Malachite Camp is a space where Art Deco meets Afrocentric design to create a truly immersive experience for our esteemed guests. The camp is accessed either by boat or vehicle and is comprised of an expansive main lodge, pool area and 8 x suites – the spaces built for the guests are extremely generous but because of the limited number of units it remains exclusive – it is a space that allows one privacy and room to breathe.
