For nearly 40 years, the Nambu property has been cherished by the Drinkwater family, passed down through generations and steeped in memories shared with loved ones. The name “Nambu,” meaning ‘river’ in the local IsiThonga language, pays homage to the natural water source that flows through the traverse, from the family name to the nearby Olifant’s River.
